Senior Citizens of Nepali Origin Tour Gippsland

A tour to Gippsland and Latrobe Valley was organized by the Australian Nepalese Senior Citizen Society as part of their calendar event program.  Mr Harka Rai, President and Mr Bon Yonjan, General Secretary of the society coordinated the tour program, mainly to make the visitors aware of the history of Nepali settlers in the Latrobe Valley in 1989-90.  This program was also attended by  Consulate General of Nepal to Victoria Mr Chandra Yonjon as well two past presidents of NAV – Mr Bom Yonjan and Mr Deepak Raj Pant.
