Melbourne Chautari Fundraising Radiothon on 9 June 2016 at 9 PM

NAV is associated with 3CR 855AM radio for over a decade now. NAV airs Melbourne Chautari every Thursday form 9 to 10 PM. 3CR radio is a community radio, who gets part of its running cost from the government and raises part of its running cost from its listeners in the form of donations. Every year 3CR Radio asks it’s community radio partners to raise certain amount of fund to keep this community radio station running. Every year NAV Melbourne Chautari approaches it’s listeners and community members to raise the fund to keep Melbourne Chautari running.

This year 3CR radio is celebrating Radiothon fundraising between 6 to 19 June. The day allocated to Melbourne Chautari is 9 June 2016, when Melbourne Chautari will be approaching listeners and supporters to help the only community radio in Victoria aired in Nepali language keen running.

We all know radio can be a great tool to promote our community activities and events of interest to our community.  It also can be a great tool to raise awareness in various matters.
