NAV Bal Diwas 2017

NAV organized Bal Diwas 2017 on 11 September 2017 at Coburg Town Hall.

Nepalese Association of Victoria sincerely thanks each and every participants of NAV Bal Diwas 2017. We thank all the children who took part in various cultural performances. We also thank all the parents and teachers of five Nepali language weekend schools in Melbourne. We are indebted to Moreland City Council for all the supports we received and special thanks Mayor Cr Helen Davidson for your presence and support. Today we were also supported by Dr Mahesh Bhandari, President Elect, Tarneit Labour Party Branch, Mr Praveen Kumar, represenging Mr Peter Khalil, MP for Wills. We also are blessed to have fantastic NAV advisors, who played key role in today’s program.

A big thanks to NRNA for excellent support. We also cant understate contribution of all the involved community organizations in Victoria.

We were also thrilled to get a chance to felicitate youths from our community who had passed VCE within last one year.

Thank you Gautam Lamichhane for snacks and tea support, which you have done every year for free for the past few years. We also thank Buyers Choice for supporting printing of momento for VCE pass youths. Thank Kathmandu Cottage for supplying Momo on a very short notice.

The five Nepali language weekend schools who took part in today’s program were –
1. NAV Balchautari Preston
2. NAV Balchautari West Tarneit
3. Craigieburn Nepalese Society Language School
4. Himalayan Nepalese Society, Glenroy
5. Hamro Nepali Pathshala, Vernont South

 

NAV honoured 12 students from the Nepalese community who completed VCE within past one year.

All the above schools performed 3 acts each making the program rich of cultural flavor.
