Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the year 2022-2023
Nepalese Association of Victoria successfully concluded its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the year 2022-2023, witnessing an impressive turnout. The event was attended by over 90 members, including six former presidents and 10 advisors. Leaders from prominent community organizations such as FeNCAA, NRNA, ANMC, JSS, FWNSV, NNCI, and RWC, as well as journalists from various newspapers, graced the event with their presence.
During the meeting, NAV President Mr. Prem Raj Upreti presented a comprehensive report highlighting the significant activities undertaken during the period. Additionally, the financial report for the fiscal year running from 1st July 2022 to 30th June 2023 was presented by Dr. Yakindra Timilsena, the treasurer. The AGM unanimously approved the President’s Report, Financial Report, and the Minutes of the last AGM held in 2022. The executive committee’s efforts and accomplishments over the first year of their term received commendation from the majority of the members.
The AGM was effectively coordinated by the secretary, Mr. Alok paudel, and received support from all other executive members, including Vice President Mr. Krishna Chalise, Ms. Lalisha Thapa, and executive members Mr. Anish Gaire, Mr. Deep Chand, Er. Yagya Raj Joshi and Mr. Nirajan Regmi.
A dynamic question-and-answer session followed, where numerous inquiries and concerns were raised which were addressed satisfactorily. The executive committee seized this opportunity to extend New Year greetings to all attendees.
