NAV Executive Committee 2024-2026 Election Result
Election Commission is pleased to announce that the following candidates are elected for NAV Executive Committee 2024-2026.
Electronic voting was conducted using a third-party application. All positions were unopposed except Vice President (male position).
Total numbers of registered voters- 1035
Total number of cast votes – 470
The Commission congratulates all the elected candidates and wish all the best in their tenure.

Please find below the instruction on how to vote.
**Urgent notification**
Due to technical error, an email has been sent to some voters this morning from Election Runner. We request the members to ignore those email and details in the email. These details are in correct. Members will receive correct email with voting details tomorrow morning. Please be advised that voting starts tomorrow morning (15th July, 2024) and ends at 5pm.

The commission would like to offer the candidates an opportunity to withdraw their candidacy by 11:59 PM, 13 July 2024 by writing to the Commission’s email- election2024@nav.org.au.
The Commission would like to notify all the members that submission on claims and disputes on candidacy is open from 9:00 am, July 11, 2024 to 23:59 pm, July 11, 2024. The Commission will respond to your submission as soon as practical. The submission should be emailed to election2024@nav.org.au.

NAV Executive Committee 2022-2024 has published the final list of voters eligible to vote for the election of NAV executive committee to be held on 15 July 2024. The list can be found at
The Commission would like to call all the interested eligible voters to submit their application for candidacy using an appropriate form, which is available from the NAV website
Following positions are vacant for Executive Committee election:
1. President – 1
2. Vice President (Open) -1
3. Vice President (Female Only) – 1
4. Treasurer – 1
5. Members – 5

Please note that the election commission will facilitate electronic voting (as per NAV constitution 2016, clause 23.4) for the contested positions, where the voters will receive an e-voting link in the emails they submitted while filling up their membership form. Please be advised that the members’ ability to vote electronically depends on their access to the email supplied to NAV during the membership process. Hence the onus lies on an individual member to ensure they provide the correct email address to NAV. The application for candidacy must be complete and signed.
