NAV BalChautari Received Accreditation From Victorian Government
Great news for Nepalese Community!!
NAV BalChautari, a Nepali language School has been in operation by Nepalese Association of Victoria informally since 2004 ; incorporated in 2015 has finally received accreditation from Victorian Government . The oldest and largest enrolled children School, has now officially recognised as a Nepali language school !!
President Prem Raj Upreti has acknowledged and extended its note of thanks to the incredible support ofVictorian Government . This will help Nepalese Association of Victoria in promoting and preserving Nepalese art, language and culture among children of Nepalese diaspora. This will help in promoting peace harmony and unity within and among communities. Nepalese Association of Victoria formed A 15members Nepali Language school (NAV BalChautari)governing council in September last year under President of NAV Prem Raj Upreti . The council consists of Principals , Safety officer , and coordinators of five schools .
It has also included two experts Dr Raju Adhikari and Chet Raj Dhakal . Further, NAV has appointed two member from Excom , treasurer Dr Yakindra Timilsena as financial officer and Vice president Mr Krishna chalise as Principal .
NAV organises various extra curricular activities like Children festivals , Speech contest , cultural shows and sporting events every year to promote Nepali art, culture and language .
Nepalese Association of Victoria extend its heartiest thanks to all the volunteers, parents and community leaders for their incredible and invaluable support in achieving this milestone.
