NAV Past President Mr Bom Yonjon Receives Darebin Mayor’s Recognition

A meeting was held between NAV’s new president Dr Anupam Pokharel and past president Mr Bom Yonjon with Cr Vince Fontana to discuss collaboration with the City of Darebin and the Nepali community. NAV expressed it’s gratitude to the City of Darebin for it’s support to the Nepalese community including assistance to run Baal Chautari, the Nepali Language and Cultural School.  Cr Fontana assured the council’s ongoing support to the Nepali community.

On that occasion Mayor Cr Fontana presented a certificate of appreciation to Mr Bom Yonjon for his tireless contribution to the multicultural community. NAV congratulates Mr Yonjon for this acknowledgement.
