NAV’s unified Nepali Cricket Team makes a good start

Nepalese Association of Victoria (NAV) Cricket Team has won another crucial match on its way up the semi-finals of the Melbourne Renegades Champions League 2016. Today NAV Cricket Team defeated Werribee Lions by 24 runs in a thrilling 20/20 match. Captain Roshan Paudyal and Sajendra Shrestha took 3 wickets each and Bikesh Shrestha made 46 runs while defending 166 they had amassed while batting first. On the first match a week ago , Captain Sunam Gautam had hammered 113 runs not out while chasing 150 made by the defending champion NWS team.
To continue the tradition of taking united cricket to represent Nepal at Multicultural cricket tournaments, NAV has this year as well put together players from various Nepalese Cricket Team in Melbourne to form a unified Nepalese team so as to put forward its best possible team to face teams of more established communities. This time 12 teams from different nationalities /community groups /clubs have taken part in the tournament.
