Nepalese Association Victoria is celebrating Australia Day 26 January 2022

We are celebrating National Australia Day by organising three different activities:
– Celebrating Australia Day with Cricketers and Community Leaders (Date: Sunday 23 January, 2022; Time: 12 pm to 1 pm; Venue: CH Sullivan Memorial Park Reservoir)
– Speech competition among Nepalese Australian children on 26 Jan
– Supporting nationwide blood donation Organized by Royal Westerns Club (RWC).

Australia Day Celebration with Speech Competition

Date: 26 January 2022 at 3 to 6pm. – Venue: Virtual zoom

The guidelines and evaluation criteria of the speech competition. Topics:

  1. Age Group 6-9 Our Australia Day (हाम्रो अष्ट्रेलिया दिवस), Total time – 2 minutes
  2. Age Group 10-12 The importance of Australia Day (अष्ट्रेलिया दिवसको महत्व), Total time – 3 minutes 3. Age Group 13-16 Celebrating Australia Day in Multicultural Australia (बहुसांस्कृतिक अष्ट्रेलियामा अष्ट्रेलिया दिवस), Total time – 3 minutes
  3. Program online Zoom Speech Competition only on Wednesday 26 January 3- 6pm.
  4. Language of delivery can be either Nepali, English or mix of both.
  5. Contents and topics of the 3 different levels stated above
  6. Prize will be given to 1st 2nd and 3rd NAV will announce prizes after collecting all participants forms.
  7. NAV will acknowledge all participants with certificates.
